Good morning parents and guardians. We have unexpectedly received the assistance from a community member for a holiday Christmas card. This individual has offered to take pictures of your student(s) and place it on a card for $10. This Thursday, December 18,2025, students may wear their favorite Christmas shirt or dress nicely for the picture. All proceeds from the pictures will go towards the 2026 Spring Fling.

With very cold temperatures this morning , please be sure your child comes to school dressed warmly. Coats, hats, gloves, scarves, and warm socks are strongly recommended. Students may go outside for arrival, dismissal, and walking to P.E., so proper winter clothing is important for their comfort and safety.

Hello parents and guardians. Burroughs Elementary will be introducing Project Outreach to our students and families. Project Outreach is a service club that connects students with disabilities together with their non-disabled peers for the better of both groups. If your student loves to help others, making new friends, and wants to be a part of something meaningful then this is for them! You can scan the QR code to sign up for potential selection for the club. Paper applications will be sent home Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
