Our school will be having an Easter Egg Hunt for students, and parents are welcome to attend and join in the fun. Families are asked to provide the eggs and candy for the hunt, as the school will not be supplying these items. Parents are also encouraged to arrive a little early and assist with hiding eggs before the hunt begins. Please note that the ACAP Summative Assessment will be taking place during this time. The school will be in testing mode, so we ask that all parents remain quiet and stay out of the hallways to avoid any disruptions to students who are testing. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated as we work to support a smooth and successful testing environment for all students. #Burroughsbest #Pawsinprogress

Our school proudly recognized World Down Syndrome Day by coming together to celebrate inclusion, kindness, and acceptance. Students and staff showed their support by wearing mismatched or colorful socks and a blue or yellow shirt to help raise awareness and promote a message of respect for all learners. 💙💛 This special day served as a reminder that every child brings unique strengths and abilities to our school community. We are proud to continue creating an environment where all students feel valued, supported, and celebrated. 🌟🧦 #burroughsbest #PawsInProgress

From the Superintendent,
Based on the most recent updates, we feel that we will be fine proceeding with a regular day of school tomorrow, January, 26, 2026.
Students are expected to be in unform with the option of layering uniforms, either under or over uniforms. If additions are made to the unforms, as always, be sure that all safety procedures are adhered to and are not jeopardized.
Again, we will be in operation for normal hours tomorrow, Monday, January 26, 2026.
